Ama Prayash is a non-governmental organization established in 2008 in Kendrapada, Odisha. Since its inception, the organization has dedicated itself to serving the people of Odisha, particularly the youth, women, and deprived students. The organization provides guidance and career counseling, identifies hidden talents in education, and promotes art, literature, culture, and sports. The organization offers merit-based scholarships, study materials, and career guidance to socio-economically and educationally disadvantaged students.
Ama Prayas organizes its annual convention in the Kendrapada district of Odishaevery year in December. The events in every convention include inspirational and motivational talks, debates, essay and quiz competitions, career guidance and awareness building, programs on life skill development, health check-ups, and felicitation of individuals who have substantially contributed to society.
A POSHAN program(Tithi Bhojan) was conducted at Palakana Primary School, Koro, Kendrapara. The importance of nutritional value was discussed during the session. More than 100 students participated in the event, and fruits, juice, and sweets were distributed among them.
An informal discussion was also held with the Headmaster regarding the development of the school. Additionally, we shared the mid-day meal with the students, making the event more engaging and interactive.
